In her 40s, Nekohl Johnson had built a successful career as a healthcare administrator, was serving in ministry, and believed she had a reasonable picture of what the next chapter of her life would look like.
Then, within a remarkably short period of time, life changed.
Both of her parents experienced serious health crises. Nekohl underwent a major surgery that ended in error. Relationships she had built over many years were damaged. She lost her father, faced the end of her marriage for a second time, and found herself wrestling with disappointment, broken trust, loneliness, and a profound sense of failure.
She knew she needed help. She just didn't know where to find it.
What followed became a deeply personal journey of faith, healing, and rediscovery—one that led Nekohl to what she describes as “the mystery of I AM: Christ, the hope of glory.”
